Baked French Toast
Description:
Always a favorite at Creekside. Ingredients: 1 # french bread, cubed 8-10 eggs 2 c. milk 1 1/2c half and half 1 t. vanilla 1 t. almond extract 1/2 t. cinnamon optional- blueberries Topping: 3/4 c butter 1 1/2 c brown sugar 3 T. light corn syrup Directions: Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Fill with cubed bread Mix eggs, milk, half n half, vanilla, almond extract, cinnamon and blueberries if using, and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In morning, remove casserole from fridge. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup and heat until bubbly.
