Baked Stuffed French Toast
Description:
Delicious, attractive slices of french toast served with blueberry sauce ( made from our own blueberries) or maple syrup (made at a local sugar house) Ingredients: Pepperidge Farm thin sliced bread Low Fat cream cheese, eggs, milk, vanilla and nugmeg Ground corn flakes Melted butter Directions: Spread frozen slice of thin bread with cream cheese(softened to room temp) top with second slice of bread-make two for each person. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and nugmeg together. Amount depends on number of guests-I do two eggs, 3/4 c milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla and dash of nutmeg for four guests. Dip bread in egg mixture and then in ground corn flakes. Drizzle with half teaspoon melted butter.
