Cheese Palomino Sandwich
Description:
This is an easy sandwich if you've ever made a grilled cheese. The name came from my daughter, who could not remember Cheese and Jalapeno sandwich, so she called them Cheese Palominos, and the name stuck! I know you've never had one! Ingredients: 2 slices whole grain bread 2 slices cheddar cheese Banana peppers or Jalapeno peppers, sliced Regular yellow Mustard 1 T. Butter Directions: Spread mustard on each slice of bread Place one cheddar slice on each piece of bread Place a fair amount of pepper slices on top of the cheese on one side, and press the other side of the sandwich together, making the jalapenos the very center layer, between the cheese slices. Butter the outsides of the sandwich and toast in a frying pan until brown and cheese has melted. Salt to taste. Recipe Summary: Yield: 1 sandwich Prep Time: 6 minutes Cook Time: 3-5 minutes Comments: |
