Egg In The NestIngredients: Crusty dinner rolls 1 large egg per roll 1 teaspoon per roll of chives, dill, cilantro, thyme or basil (one herb, not all!) 1 teaspoon heavy cream per roll salt and pepper 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese or Italian blend per roll Directions: 1. Slice off the top of each roll and remove some of the bread until there is room enough to accommodate an egg. Arrange rolls on a baking sheet, reserving tops for later. 2. Optional: Brush inside of roll with melted butter or spray opening with butter flavored 3. Crack an egg into each roll. Top eggs with desired herb (ex. chives) and teaspoon of cream. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese. 4. Bake in a 350 degree oven until eggs are set and bread is toasted (20 to 25 minutes). 5. After eggs have cooked for 20 minutes, place bread tops on baking sheet and bake until golden brown. Remove baking sheet from oven and let sit 5 minutes. Place tops on rolls and serve warm.
