Our 全ignature' Apple Cream Cheese Tart



Description:
Crust:
6 oz. butter
3 oz. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
9 oz. all purpose flour

Filling:
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 oz. sugar
1 large egg
2 apples, chopped

Topping:
3-4 apples, sliced
2 oz. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 t

Ingredients:
Crust:
6 oz. butter
3 oz. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
9 oz. all purpose flour

Filling:
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 oz. sugar
1 large egg
2 apples, chopped

Topping:
3-4 apples, sliced

Directions:
To make the crust:
Cream butter and sugar
Add flour and vanilla, mix together
Pat out onto the bottom and up the sides
of a greased tart pan (helps to wet hands)

To make the filling:
Without cleaning the bowl, combine all ingredients and spread evenly in crust

To make topping:
Cut peeled apples into thick slices
Again, without cleaning the bowl,
combine with remaining ingredients and
arrange on top of cream cheese filling
Sprinkle with almonds (optional)

Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes
Reduce temperature to 400 and bake 25
minutes longer.

Cool, cut, 8 slices.
