Raspberry Scones



Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup frozen raspberries

1/3 cup margarine/shortening/butter
1 egg, beaten
7/8 cups milk

spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
Bake in 400 F. degree oven, about 12 minutes.
Cool on rack. Serve warm. ENJOY ( makes 6 Large, 12, small.)

Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening.
Add frozen raspberries just enough to cover with flour.
Combine egg and milk and mix well.
Make a well in dry ingredients.
Add wet ingredients all at once.
Stir quickly, just enough to moisten dough and not quish berries. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
Bake in 400 F. degree oven about 12 minutes.
Cool on rack. Serve warm with butter. ENJOY.
