The Best Banana Bread Ever!

This Banana bread has been a Nauset House Inn favorite for years,25 to be exact. Our Banana bread is moist and full of flavor. Nobody can just eat one slice. We always have a request for our Banana Bread, served with our full breakfast with a few choices

1 cup Margarine
2 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
5 eggs
3 very ripe Bananas
1 cup Vanilla Yogurt

In a large bowl combine the Baking Powder, Flour and Baking Soda. Set aside. In a food processor process the margarine and sugar together (30 or 40 seconds) then add the eggs. Process until smooth. Add the Bananas and Yogurt. Process again until smooth. You do not want any large pieces of Banana or it will cook unevenly. Now mix the wet ingredients into the dry. Mix well. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a tester comes out clean! ENJOY!
