Waypoint Inn - Dick's Salmon Dip

A great, non-dairy Salmon Dip recipe. Developed by the Innkeeper, Dick Smith.

Waypoint Inn - Dick's Salmon Dip

Smoked salmon----canned, frozen or fresh --- any quantity
salmon---any kind --------ditto --- equal quantity
[break up the salmon] if salmon is in oil ---DO NOT discard oil
Bread & butter pickles---chop them up small ---about half cup
Green olives [optional]----ditto ---less than half cup
Blanched sweet onion or fresh green onions ---less than half cup (this is optional too)
if you have pickled onion (Dick makes using remaining bread & butter juices) use in lieu of other onions
Horse radish --- maybe a tablespoon
Fresh ground black pepper --- bunch of dashes
Celery seed --- same
Mayonnaise --- as little as possible---just enough to glue the stuff

Mix all the stuff well---

Salmon Dip is BEST if:
refrigerated for a while
