Whole Wheat Banana Nut Pancakes

This is a tasty healthy breakfast for 2.
If you wish to serve more people, increase the ingredients accordingly.

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup buttermilk
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

mix the whole wheat flour, all purpose flour and baking powder together- set aside
Beat egg, add brown sugar, vanilla & buttermilk, mix together.
Add The dry ingredients to the liquid, stir enough to mix.
Do not over mix.

Cook on hot greased griddle.
When serving the pancakes, top with chopped banana mixed with chopped walnuts.
Sprinkle a bit of powdered sugar on top.
Enjoy with maple syrup!
