First time B&B experience

This was a first time stay at a Bed & Breakfast for both my fiance and me. Stone Gables has converted us from hotel stayers to B&Bs. Richard is a fantastic host with detailed offerings such as an assortment of snacks and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies (thank you!). He opened his refrigerator to his guests & even made available his selection of wine, which perfectly completed our romantic night. Richard is a fantastic cook and very accommodating and personable. I would absolutely recommend Stone Gables.

Great B&B

My family and I stsyed at the Stone Gables during our recent trip to Cleveland. It is conveniently located a short drive from downtown and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The home is beautifully furnished and maintained. Our host was very nice, and stayed late on the night of our arrival to meet us. Breakfasts were freshly made and very good.

Anniversary weekend

I found the Stone Gables while searching for a b&b around Cleveland. I wanted to try something different and decided not to just do the usual hotel stay. We've never done a b&b before and now we are spoiled. The Stone Gables is a beautiful, interesting, and well run place. It is (Very) near downtown Cleveland (Ohio City) but you don't feel like you're downtown. The immediate neighborhood is nice and fairly quite. The house itself is nicely decorated and very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great (eggs Benedict for me). Fresh cut fruit, coffee, tea, fresh squeezed oj. All made by the proprietor himself. Also had nice conversation with him while eating. He is more than willing to talk about the house, business, Ohio City,.... Very nice guy. You COULD walk to West Side Market though if you're bringing things back it'd be better to drive. Great stay and we now plan to go back again for two nights and NO plans do anything other than relax.

Totally charming

The Stone Gables is a lovely, romantic inn...beautifully furnished and decorated...clean and quiet...great, convenient location...and breakfast was scrumptious! Excellent value with friendly, attentive service...a much better choice for us than one of the downtown hotels.

Romance, Rest and Fun!

Our anniversary stay at the Stone Gables was so enjoyable! Richard is the best host, and makes the best waffles. The room was inviting and comfortable, and special attention was given to details. As guests, we felt welcome and relaxed. The area offered everything we were looking for in location and activities. We had tickets for a show at the Cleveland Playhouse, only a few minutes drive from the Gables. We brought our road bikes and were able to bicycle around town, see the sights, visit the amazing West Side Market, and stroll in the evenings to any one of the several neighborhood corner restaurants. We would definitely enjoy spending more time here in the future! Dennis and Missy

December Girls Birthday Celebration

We had a lovely time staying at Stone Gables just last weekend (12/5-12/6). Richard was so very helpful and nice to deal with. Breakfast each morning was very delicious and we had more than enough to eat. The atmosphere was very relaxing and homey. Our room was just right for us as well. We enjoyed spending time in and around Ohio City and had plenty to do. We have already said we would go back again. Thanks for the great hospitality Richard! We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic and Quiet weekend

Richard, thank you for a wonderful experience. My wife and I felt like we had the house to ourselves. Everything was so quiet. Sunday breakfast was amazing! Thank you for your hospitality. One other thing, it was so nice to have Direct TV and a lightning fast wireless connection... it made things smoother for us.
