Circa 1765. Adorning a tree-lined street of Nantucket, Massachusetts, The Carlisle House Inn has been offering New England hospitality for more than 100 years. Sit in the award-winning garden or read by the fire in the parlor. Carefully restored, this historic three-story B&B offers an assortment of accommodations that may include canopy beds and fireplaces. Linger over a generous continental breakfast buffet in the sunny morning room. The island's premier B&B is a short walk from the ferry, shops, restaurants and town center. Beach towels and small coolers are available. Bikes, scooters and car rentals are plentiful. Luggage storage is provided at the inn when arriving early or departing late. Beautiful inn and wonderful hospitality! Our room was large, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. Gorgeous light-filled breakfast room and private garden. We were a quick (minutes) walk to the ferry, town center, and beaches. Highly recommend!
