Circa 1684. The Veranda House is a Nantucket, Massachusetts landmark sitting three stories high at the top of Step Lane and boasting third-generation family owners. Built in 1684, the gingerbread-trimmed bed and breakfast with terraced gardens offers relaxing luxury for a New England getaway. Sweeping views of Nantucket Harbor are seen from the three wraparound verandas. Play bocce ball or walk to the beach with a complimentary beach tote and towel. Lavish guest bedrooms and suites with private balconies feature Frette linens and Simon Pearce lamps. Schedule an in-room massage. Linger over a European-style gourmet breakfast that is sure to please. Local shops and restaurants are a short stroll away in town.

The Only Place to Stay on Nantucket

We have traveled to Nantucket many times, but the Veranda House has it all. The harbor views are breathtaking, the design element of the property is amazing, and what service they have. It just doesn't get any better!!
