Description

Circa 1878. It is easy to relax at this Victorian B&B near downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. Built in 1878, The Kalamazoo House Bed and Breakfast features period furnishings, hand-stenciled ceilings, vintage wallpapers and faux-painted wood details. Sit and read on one of the front or side porches and gather for evening refreshments in the parlor where they are served on a mirror-backed and marble-topped bar. Elegant guest bedrooms are spacious retreats and some feature a one- or two-person whirlpool tub. A gas-log fireplace and a chandelier highlight the Breakfast Room where a morning meal is selected from a menu that features house specialties.

This was our first stay at a B & B. We had a fantastic time. Everything was just as advertised. Our room and the entire property were splendid.

Simply Wonderful

From the minute we arrived, I loved this Inn. Laurel and Terry made us feel extremely comfortable and at home. The Inn is beautiful with period antiques everywhere. The room are extremely clean and well furnished. The service is beyond belief. From your choices at breakfast, great, great conversation in the evenings, cookies before bed and a wonderful location to events. We have never felt so comfortable in any other Inn or hotel ever. As the title of this review says, it is simply a wonderful place to stay. Very, very highly recommended
