A note from the Innkeeper/s
Description
Circa 1919. In the quiet village setting of Lempeter, Pennsylvania, in Lancaster County, this historic two-story brick Colonial B&B is accented by chestnut woodwork and pocket doors. Innkeepers Tom and Sarah are committed to making Walnut Lawn Bed and Breakfast environmentally sensitive and allergen free. Spend relaxing moments on the wraparound porch or browse through books in the living room to learn of the local Amish and Mennonite culture. Watch a DVD or video or play a game in the den. A guest refrigerator is stocked with beverages. Handmade quilt-covered beds and antique furnishings accent the themed guest rooms. One room boasts a private balcony overlooking the back lawn. Wonderful breakfast recipes use nuts and fruits from the orchard and are served in the spacious dining room.

Our orchard has cherry, pear, apple trees plus a plum tree. The tulip bed glows in the spring while a large wisteria bush dangles its beautiful lavender bouquets. In late May the Tartaran Honeysuckle lends its fragrant pink flowers to the back yard. |
