Circa 1913. Experience an old world European elegance and gracious hospitality at this English tudor mansion. Poised high on a hill overlooking historic downtown Hartford, Wisconsin, ask the concierge service about local attractions and sights. Gather for the wine and cheese social hour, grab a complimentary cold drink anytime, and savor home-baked cookies in the evening. CDs, DVDs and games are available in the fireside living room. Air-conditioned guest suites with garden views are named after authors found in the inn's literary book collection and boast French country style furnishings and décor,as well as porches, refrigerators and pleasing details including business amenities. Some accommodations feature a gas fireplace, air bubble tub or clawfoot soaking tub. Onsite massage therapy can be scheduled in advance. Linger over a bountiful 4-course breakfast in the formal dining room with heirlooms, silver serving dishes, vintage china, crystal and Irish linens.

The mansion is surrounded by a beautiful park in the back and English gardens all around. We have herbs, used for breakfast and fruit trees and plants. A large variety of roses also. A spacious outdoor garden room with wall fountain is a great place to relax and read a book or enjoy a Wine and Cheese Reception. |
