Circa 1878. Built in 1878 by Widow Frances McCrea, this renovated and restored Victorian bed and breakfast adorns the historic riverside village of Frenchtown, New Jersey. Surrounded by the scenic Delaware River Valley, Widow McCrea House offers elegant guest bedrooms, luxurious suites and the private Kase Family Cottage. Each accommodation includes a complimentary bottle of wine and features an assortment of thoughtful amenities. Choose from oversized Jacuzzis, feather beds and fireplaces in a delightful setting of period antiques and tasteful décor. A gourmet candlelight breakfast is available in the morning and varies according to reservation. Take a leisurely stroll into town or relax on the porch with a good book.

Reservation/Cancellation Policies:

Cancellation

A fifteen-day advance notice is required in the event of shortening or canceling your reservation in order for the deposit to be refunded. Thirty-day advance notice is required when canceling a reservation that falls on a holiday, special event, local festival, single-night stay or special rate package. Cancellation within 24 hours of your arrival date will forfeit the entire amount of your reservation. All reservations made online will be considered as confirmed reservations. Cancellation policy will apply to all confirmed reservations. Check-in is from 3-6 PM. Late arrivals must phone ahead to make alternate check-in arrangements. Please call with your expected time of arrival. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Cancellation within 24 hours of your arrival date will forfeit the entire amount of your reservation. In the event you must cancel your reservation with us, Inn policy requires all cancellation requests be submitted in writing to the following email address only: widowmccrea@sprintmail.com. In the event you do not receive a written confirmation reply back from our office, then your cancellation request has not been confirmed. Please call our office directly at (908) 996-4999 for assistance with your cancellation request.

Don't Miss This Extraordinary Jewel

An opportunity to visit with some old college friends led me back to an area near Buck's County that I've always loved, Frenchtown. I wasn't expecting much of a local inn but had heard some buzz about a little gem of a place close to New Hope but a far better value. Loving luxury and a good deal as much as I do, I was pleased to find both in this jewel of a B&B. Lynn her staff do an exceptional job of making one's stay restful and fulfilling, with little extravagances abounding in the thoughtful breakfasts and the well appointed rooms. I felt "at home" immediately. Clearly, I found the best place in town and I'll be returning with a friend.
