We had a great time in Charlottesville. It was a great get away. The Inn was exactly as we expected - which was great. Breakfast was wonderful. We were impressed with the friendliness, helpfulness, and knowledge of everyone there. Always helpful no matter what we asked.
So thanks again. And, when we return, we will stay there and would recommend the Inn to anyone who tells us they are going to Charlottesville.

Poorly Run, Poorly Maintained
Problems were plentiful: the home needed significant refurbishing inside and out; peeling paint and water stains on all ceilings; trash bins and materials cluttered the walkway outside the basement rooms; untrained, inexperienced reception staff was unfamiliar with city and could not give recommendations; basic continental breakfast versus full breakfast; owner appears absent, leaving college students in charge who lacked basic training in hospitality (e.g., failing to even ask "how was your stay?"); would have stayed in chain hotel if we weren't going to be given the personal, knowledgeable service you typically get at another B&B
