Description

Circa 1817. Dinsmore House was built in 1817 and recently renovated. This Federal style townhouse boasts Williamsburg Colonial décor and furnishings. It is poised in the heart of Charlottesville, Virginia at the University of Virginia. Refreshments are available and guests are invited to gather for the evening social hour. A brick courtyard is lighted for pleasant conversation. An indoor pool and workout room makes staying in shape enjoyable. Browse through the DVD and game collection. Distinctive guest bedrooms are inviting retreats and the Dinsmore Suite on the second floor is very spacious and includes a clawfoot tub. Packages are available. Jefferson's Monticello and many local wineries are less than five miles away from this bed and breakfast inn.

Pecan Crusted French Toast

Cut loaf of French bread into 1 inch slices and cover the bottom of an 8x10 greased baking dish with bread. Press bread together so no gaps can be seen. Place a 2nd layer of 1 inch slices on top of primary layer in 8x10 baking dish.
