The traditional decor is inviting and warm with candles in the windows, elegant colors and comfortable furnishings. Secluded hideaways encourage conversation or reading. Delightful guest bedrooms and a suite feature jetted tubs, fireplaces, handmade quilts and comforters. An incredible breakfast served on antique china and in crystal goblets may include sauteed apple and yogurt parfait, homemade doughnut muffins, cereals, scrambled eggs with cream cheese and crab alongside baked tomatoes and stuffed mushrooms, and sorbet or light pudding. Play badminton or croquet, and visit nearby Mystic Seaport.

We have almost five acres! Part forest, part open fields, with lots of flowers, quiet green spots and a vegetable garden. About a dozen hens contribute eggs to the kitchen; they're guarded by their faithful rooster, Fred. |
