Hermann Hill, called one of the Midwest's most romantic inns, has successfully encouraged guests to tell their stories with 2 separate programs.

 

1. Threads -

According to Debbie , the inn's manager, "Threads is a program we run that rewards guests for letting us know what made their stay special. We leave a questionnaire in guest rooms. Then every month we choose 2 couples to receive a $100 gift certificate for a future stay.

 

2. Same Time Next Year -

"We ask guests two questions - What did you do on your way to the inn? and What are your goals for the next year?

 

When they share their goals we put it in a sealed envelope and save it to put on their bed when they come the following year. We offer this year's rates if they book ahead before they leave the inn, and they get to choose their room for next year. They also get any off-season deals we have for the time they pick."

Our monthly guest contest asks couples while staying at Hermann Hill what three goals they hope to accomplish this year. Below are the winning entries.
