Description

Circa 1860. Moss-draped Chippewa Square, where Forrest Gump waited for the bus with his box of chocolates, is the backdrop for this elegant townhouse mansion. Tastefully furnished with English, French and American antiques, this Victorian inn offers Southern hospitality and European charm. The magnificent double parlor boasts a graceful comfort amidst treasured pieces. A video library provides a variety of movies. Guest bedrooms feature canopied and four-poster beds. Most include gas fireplaces, and some have oversize whirlpool baths and private balconies. Enjoy a delicious hot and cold breakfast as well as sweet and savory treats with afternoon tea. Relax in one of the two delightful courtyards. The inn is located in the heart of the historic district, making it an easy stroll to theaters, symphony, art galleries, antique stores and restaurants. The staff will gladly make tour and dinner reservations.

Most Romantic

We have stayed at the Foley several times and have never been disappointed. The breakfast is always wonderful and the staff is most attentive. They really know the town and are great about helping you with your plans. We stay at B&B's often and have never found a more romantic inn anywhere. Go and you wont be sorry!
