Small town experience for Chelsea

A lovely little bed and breakfast in the town my husband grew up in! We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts and the hosts were very attentive and helpful.

Mother-in-Law treat

My husband and I took his mother on a tour of all the old family homes in the Oxford and Warrenton areas for her birthday. The Ivy was a REAL treat. We used the rooms sharing the connecting bath. It was a lovely time and she (and we) truly had a delightful time at The Ivy. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts made us feel right at home. My husband and I hope to return in the spring for a long weekend of biking and relaxation. We will definitely go back to The Ivy.

Rockin' on the front porch

What a great weekend!!! We were in town for a family wedding. After the wedding we returned to the Ivy and changed clothes and went out onto the large front porch, sat in comfy rocking chairs and drank a bottle of wine and listened to the gentle rain on the tin roof. The most wonderful food, accomadations and new friends!!!

Relaxing, Romantic, & Restful!

My husband and I were looking for a weekend "escape" and found just that at the charming Ivy Bed and Breakfast! The owners, Jerry and Ellen, were very warm and friendly! Our room was beautiful, romantic, and inviting! We walked to local antique and gift shops; and, later that evening walked downtown to eat dinner, all the while enjoying the beautiful fall evening. After a refreshing nights sleep at the Ivy, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast! The breakfast was both elegant and very delicious! A "special" thank you to our hosts, Jerry and Ellen, for making our stay at their B & B so very enjoyable! Linda and Clif McCoy, Roanoke Rapids, NC
