Description

Circa 1875. Located in the heart of Indiana's Amish country, this inn offers comfortable lodging and fine food. Some of the recipes are regionally famous, such as the award-winning Buttermilk Pecan Chicken. All guest rooms feature handsome quilts and country decor, and The Lodge treats visitors to a 5-person hot tub and kitchenette. The smoke-free inn also is host to a gift shop, game room and nature trail.

The Amish people in our area often serve this at their weddings. It\'s easy and very tasty.


Buttermilk Pecan Chicken

The original owner of our Inn won a national contest with this recipe in the 1960\'s. We still serve it today in our restaurant.

Fudge Macaroon Pie

This recipe won a first place at our town\'s Bake-Off.
