Memphis Style Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients:
7 Cups Chopped Onions 2 Tsp. Chopped Fresh Garlic 1 Gal. Catsup 1 Gal. Red Wine Vinegar 1/2 Gal. Water 4 Lb. Dark Brown Sugar 2 Cups Chili Powder 2.7 Cups Paprika 4 TBL Dry Mustard (1/4 Cup) 12 Bay Leaves 20 oz. Worcestershire (2.5 Cups) 2 Cups Red Crushed Pepper Directions: Combine all ingredients in large container. Bring to a boil and turn off immediately. Do not cook after boil point! It will be very thin. Cool and put in containers with tight fitting lids. Store for 30 days to age. When ready for use, leave open only what will be used. Once product is opened to the air, it will thicken immediately. Use on Pork Loin.
