Our 7th wedding anniversay and 3rd time at the Silverstone

Oh my, this Inn is wonderful! We like going to Inns and, clearly, this is our favorite. Quiet, romantic, tasteful and comfortable. Impeccably clean. The owners and their children are so friendly, helpful and informative. The breakfasts are to die for! Each time we visit we meet another couple we end up chatting with at breakfasts. So clean. Well thoughthe put touches everywhere. Truly marvelous.

Stay here if you possibly can...

We stayed in the Copper Beech Suite for four nights in early September and were sad when it was time to leave. Having stayed in many different types of accommodation with varying experiences I have become an avid reader of online hotel reviews before I book! We found that the numerous positive comments about the Silverstone Inn were indeed true. This is one B&B you should come and experience if you possibly can. The hosts are very friendly and enjoy serving a delicious home-made breakfast. As others have said the restoration has been thoughtfully done, the furnishings are very good quality and the room lighting (including many tasteful Tiffany lamps) is the best we have come across in any place we have stayed. Everywhere was beautifully clean. As our suite had a coffee-maker, microwave, fridge and sink we didn't really use the downstairs bar or the sumptuous looking guest sitting room. The location is good as it is has something to appeal to everyone. The garden is quiet and peaceful and surrounded by fields. You can drive around the local area and see small working farms, covered bridges and local people carrying on their everyday life or you can shop to your heart's content all within a few minutes. The place to come for a relaxing, refreshing break.

Silverstone Inn: Lancaster's best!

Over Valentine's Day weekend 2010, my fiancee and I visited the Lancaster, PA region and stayed two nights at the Silverstone Inn (the Ginkgo Room). This historic property has been lovingly and painstakingly restored by its present owners (Toni and Lorin), and it is a gem. Although close to the bustling Route 30 with its outlet malls, restaurants, and shops, the Inn is far enough away from the main road so that you can enjoy its bucolic setting. Upon arrival, the Inn's parking lot was clear after significant snowfall, so we had no difficulty parking our car. We were warmly greeted, received a tour of the inn, and found the inn's living room, dining area, and bar to be stately and immaculate. The Ginkgo room with its dormer window, charming sitting area, and jacuzzi was a wonderful place to stay as there was no guest room adjacent to it on the third floor. At breakfast, we were served almond crusted French toast fingers one morning and Toni's specialty, Pannekoeken, the next. In addition, we received warm baked bread and fresh fruit with our meals along with a choice of various juices, teas, and coffee. While we enjoyed what was offered, we would recommend that Toni and Lorin consider adding a meat dish or vegetarian item, potato, and/or eggs to the menu to counteract the sweetness of the main entrees. Indeed, this inn is a great choice for lodging in Lancaster.

Beautiful B&B with warm and gracious hosts Toni and Lorin. The place is fabulous and the warm hospitality served by the owners is icing on a beautiful cake. We hope to return on our trip thru Amish country. We loved every minute here.

Best B&B in Lancaster County

Finally Lancaster County has a romantic and elegant B&B that is quietly luxurious. Toni and Lindy have totally renovated a rustic farmhouse and added beautiful marble baths, fine linens and tasteful decor. The property is quiet and peaceful, and breakfast fresh from their garden is delicious. Toni is Dutch and his high standards show; everything is immaculate. Location is superb -- peaceful cornfields all around, but convenient to the commercial bustle of Route 30 and the outlets.

A definitation of a 5 Star Rating

This was our first stay at Silverstone Inn and the experience was unique. Our room (Butternut Cottage) was lovely and the hot tub was a neat feature. The innkeepers Toni and Lorin went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty to eat. The Silverstone Inn is the definition of a 5 star rating

Our stay at Silverstone

My wife & I decided at the last minute to take a trip to Lancaster & spend an evening at a B&B. I searched the B&B's near Lancaster & Silverstone seemed to have one of the better locations (almost directly behind the Rockvale Outlets). We arrived & checked in without issue, Toni explained everything and gave us a nice tour of the house. We found everything to be very pleasant. Our room- Hazlenut, was located on the first floor with exterior access. The room was beautifully appointed & a pleasure to stay in. In the morning we had breakfast which consisted of amazing "Pannekoeken" which is nearly like a crepe, mine with maple syrup, my wife's with cinnamon sugar, both were amazing. We also had sausage & a nice variety of fruits as well. My wife had tea while I had some OJ. We checked out around 11 & continued our visit to Lancaster. In closing we would like to thank Toni & Lorin for their hospitality & service. We would also like to thank their daughter whom served us our breakfast and was very nice & personable. We highly recommend Silverstone Inn & Suites if you have a chance to stay in Lancaster, we will definately be back!

Quiet clean friendly

Our stay at Silverstone was a delightful experience. Close to all the activity on Rt 30 in Lancaster yet out in the country. Very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The family who owns and runs the business were present daily and very warm and helpful. Food was delicious and artfully prepared. This was a wonderful experience and we look forward to a return visit.

The #1 Place in Lancaster!

Toni, Lorin, Miranda and Nick - a memorable combination of talent, poise, information, culinary treats, gracious hosts, etc., etc. We wish we knew more words. Silverstone - THE place to stay in Lancaster! Close to everything without being near everything. A quiet secluded inn transformed by two of the most passionate people - Toni and Lorin - we have come to know. Interested in you not only as a visitor to the area but their guest in a beautiful home away from home. Rooms were IMMACULATE (as well as the rest of the inn). The grounds, quiet and serene. You are literally minutes away to Sight and Sound and the Rockvale outlets as well as many chain restaurants and all that the Amish countryside has to offer. Their website depicts the Inn and grounds exactly as you will find it but being there is the icing on the cake. Cannot wait to go back!

Great First Getaway for Newlyweds

From the moment I found the website, I knew this would be the perfect place for our first getaway. The family was genuine and caring to make sure that every aspect of our stay was to our liking. The breakfast was delicious and the grounds were picturesque. Located conveniently near shopping and entertainment, it still provides you with a rustic Lancaster feel. The home itself was beautiful and rich with history while still incorporating modern luxuries. My husband and I are looking forward to returning in the Spring.

Our Honeymoon Getaway

This was a remarkable establishment. My bride and I were thoroughly wooed by the architecture, history, luxury, comfort, and serenity of the property as well as the gracious and gentle hospitality of the owners. It fit the imaginations of a true getaway, and exceeded the expectations I had when planning the honeymoon. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who needs a spectacular retreat from the daily grind. A lovely, lovely experience.

What a wonderful experience...

we had at the Silverstone Inn & Suites! It is hard to believe that less than a half-mile off of the busy hustle and bustle of Route 30 in Lancaster, there is a serene, beautiful landscape with a gorgeous 1700's stone home that is the Silverstone bed and breakfast. From the very beginning we had exceptional hospitality with Nick welcoming us and thoroughly explaining their services. The inn is very beautifully decorated and our breakfast served by our extremely friendly and gracious hostess, Miranda was just delicious! The next time we have a special occasion to celebrate, we will definitely return to this treasure of a getaway that is practically in our own backyard.

Simply Perfect!

What a beautiful Bed and Breakfast! The Silverstone Inn is a step above the rest. The grounds and the house are just beautiful and so well maintained. The innkeepers could not have been more friendly and we felt welcome the moment we arrived. Our room, with its fireplace, was so relaxing. Breakfast was simply delicious. Overall, the inn exceeded our expectations, and the next time we are in the area, we'll know exactly where to stay!!

First BNB Experience

First bed and breakfast ever and pleasantly surprised. Always had the awkward stigma of staying in one that it would feel like staying in someones house. I was happy to be wrong. The place felt simply comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean and homey. Staff were personable, nice, and really cared about providing the guest the best experience in the area and for their stay overall. I would definitely come back next time.

Beautiful Country Inn

My husband & I just stayed at the Silverstone Inn for a weekend in the Lancaster area. Even though we saw all the photos and positive comments on line, we were still thrilled when we saw it in person. The location of the inn is perfect for visiting the local sights and taking in the beautiful farmland. Our room, Hazelnut, was so comfortable and beautifully furnished! Wait until you see the lamps! They have thought of everything to make you feel at home, especially having access to coffee all night long and a large but cozy living room. Breakfast was perfect too. Of course our hosts really know how to welcome you as they show you around, and make sure you're comfortable enough to use the inn as if it is your own. We can't wait for another opportunity to visit them!

Wonderful, peaceful inn!

As a wedding present, we were given a gift certificate to the Silverstone. We booked a weekend at the inn and stayed in the private Butternut cottage. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! The property was gorgeous, romantic, peaceful and very well maintained, while close to Lancaster attractions. Tony and Lorin were wonderful hosts and you do not want to miss the breakfasts. The food, as with everything else, was first class. This is the nicest B&B we have stayed at.

Wonderful accommodations in Lancast

Definitely a first class, five star inn. Everything was perfect--from the spectacularly furnished house (lovingly renovated), prime location (away from the hustle and bustle, but minutes away from everything), gourmet breakfast, and the warm welcome we received from Toni Wortel, the most knowledgeable, friendly, and fascinating innkeeper I have ever met. Thank you Toni, Lorin, and Miranda for a wonderful stay.

The most beautiful place in Lancaster, PA

My wife and I took a retreat to Lancaster, PA and stumbled upon this cozy place. They took our reservation last minute and waited up for us until we arrived, two hours past check in. Toni was so nice went he greeted us, and he showed us around and answered all of our questions to the best of his ability. The place was immaculate! Everywhere in the house was so neat and tidy. Lorin's needle point portraits looked so real that my wife and I thought they were actual pictures. Our room with the jacuzzi was so inviting and perfect. We had such a great time and took the advice of Toni to go and check out a local winery. We highly recommend staying with this lovely family. The breakfast was amazing, everything was amazing, I can't see staying anywhere else in Lancaster. 10/10
