Description

Circa 1880. If you enjoy a getaway that allows you to walk to points of interest, the Carriage House should be your choice. It's Greek Revival architecture with a wraparound porch is an enticement to stay a week and feel as if you always lived in this beautiful historic treasure. Your hosts will make arrangements for a variety of activities such as a carriage ride through town, theater tickets, picnics by the river and heritage walking tours. Jefferson always has interesting community events along with its scenic dark piney woods, spring and fall color, and the new wildlife refuge.

Interesting Place

2nd Time

This is our second year at the Carriage House and it won't be our last. We will see you again next year. Your new furnishings are just beautiful. It has such "warmth" to the feel. Honeymoon

What a wonderful place to spend a honeymoon. For many years I worked as a chamber/ city representative down the road for Grand Saline, TX. We promoted Jefferson as a "romantic getaway" at our visitor's center. Never had I visited the city because I had not met the love of my life until now. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and experience that has meant so much to us.

Second Time

The Best

Our trip to Jefferson and the Carriage House was the best! We have stayed in many B& B's but this was is the best. Your home is so welcoming and comfortable. Sassy the Greeter

We knew right away that we came to the right place when we were greeted by Sassy the Wonder Cat and warm chocolate chip cookies. Cats and cookies - Life is good! Great Hospitality

Everything was wonderful except the rain but it brought cooler temps so it was okay too. Good food, great hospitality

Wonderful Hosts

Wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with y'all and the girls. Give them a tummy rub for us. Caddo Lake was fascinating and the Ghost Tour was fun. Jefferson's history is intriguing
