Who has not heard of the Indianapolis 500? Indianapolis is Indiana's largest city and it ranks 11th in the country. Major sports events reel in hundreds of thousands of visitors from everywhere and this includes the very popular Brickyard 400 and the Men's and Women's NCAA Basketball Competitions. There is much to be had on the cultural scene of Indianapolis and that is the very reason why Indianapolis is divided into six cultural districts: Indiana Avenue, White River State Park, Canal, The Wholesale District, Fountain Square, and the Broad Ripple Village, each maintaining cultural importance as well as historic relevance to the city. This year, a city bike and pedestrian path is set to be finished and it will be called the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. It will have benches, bike rentals, bike racks, and some art work coming form local artists. By Stone Soup Inn.
