Barbequed Kodiak Silver Salmon (or Red Or King)
Description:
Okay, this is just about the best salmon ever...if you want to impress your guests, this is the salmon to serve!!! Ingredients: 1/4 cup apple cider 6 Tbl soy sauce 2 Tbl butter 1 large garlic clove crushed 2 salmon filets (2 1/2 to 3 lbs each or 4 to 5 salmon steaks, cut about 1 inch thick.) Directions: Combine cider and soy sauce. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer for three minutes. Add butter and garlic and continue cooking, stirring occasionally until liquids thicken enough to coat back of spoon, about 20 minutes. Cool. Brush marinade over salmon filets and place skin down on a rack. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Place over hot coals and make aluminum tent over the fish. Bake about 15-20 minutes and serve.
