Dad's Famous Granola

This is my dad's recipe passed down and it always get huge raves when we serve it at our Cape May B&B, the Mason Cottage. You can eat it by itself, with milk or add it on top of fruit and yogurt. Note: This makes a lot, so feel free to half the recipe Ingredients: 5 cups rolled oats 1 cup raw wheat germ 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1 cup honey 2 cups coarsely chopped pecans 1 cup powdered milk 1/2 cup sesame seeds 1 tbsp. vanilla extract 1 tbsp. salt 1 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup water 1 cup each: Dried apricots Dried apples Dried dates (no pits) Dried raisins Coconut flakes Directions: Preheat oven to 250 Degrees. Combine all dry ingredients and then mix in all the wet ingredients by hand. Spread out on 2 jelly roll pans and bake on 250 for 1 hour. Tossing with a spatula every 15 minutes.
