Rhubarb Cheese Pie

1/4 Cup cornstarch
1 Cup sugar
Pinch salt
1/2 Cup water
3 Cups rhubarb, sliced
1 unbaked pie shell

1 Package cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/2 Cup sugar
Whipped cream
Slivered almonds

In saucepan combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and water. Stir. Add rhubarb. Cook, stirring often until mixture thickens. Pour into pie shell and bake 10 minutes at 425.
Meanwhile, mix sugar, eggs, cream cheese until smooth. Pour over pie. Bake 35-40 minutes at 325. Cool completely. Toip with whipped cream and almonds.
