Ricotta Coffeecake Squares
Description:
This is a great recipe for breakfast or dessert served with fresh strawberries. Ingredients: 1 box Butter Recipe Cake Mix 3 eggs 3/4 c. Sugar 2 tsp Vanilla 15 oz. Ricotta Cheese Directions: Mix cake according to the box directions and pour into 9 X 13 pan. Beat eggs; add sugar, vanilla and the ricotta cheese- this will be of a watery consistency. Pour on top of the unbaked cake and evenly spread to cover the cake. During the baking the cheese mixture will sink to the bottom. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares. Preheat oven to 350 9 X13 glass pan (do not grease or flour) ** Keep cake refrigerated in the glass pan. Cake also freezes well.
