Sausage Crescent Bars
Description:
A tasty snack or brunch addition Ingredients: 4 8-oz packages of refrigerated crescent rolls 1 pound hot sausage 1 pound mild sausage 3 eggs 1/2 pound swiss cheese, grated 4 Tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper Directions: Using two of the crescent roll dough packages, line bottom of two 9x13 pans.. In a skillet, brown the sausage and drain. Beat eggs lightly, reserving 3 Tablespoons of the beaten egg. Mix eggs with the sausage and spread evenly over the dough in the two pans. Sprinkle cheese and seasonings over sausage mixture. Cover with a layer of crescent roll dough from remaining two packages. Brush top with reserved egg. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting into 1 inch by 4 inch bars Can be put together the night before and stored in refrigerator. Allow to come to room temperature if refrigerated or allow slightly more time to cook.
