Surprise Cupcakes

Description:
These cupcakes are fun and easy to make and have a hidden surprise inside! They are great with or without frosting.

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups milk
24 Hershey kisses any flavor
Frosting, any flavor, homemade or store bought if desired

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 24 muffin cups or use paper liners. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixer bowl, cream together the butter and brown and white sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until well blended. Fill each muffin cup 1/3 full, then place a kiss in the center of each. Top with remaining batter until cups are 2/3 full.
Bake in a preheated oven for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown and the tops spring back when lightly touched.
cool completely.
Frost as desired.
