Friendliest town

"Twas a lovely visit. Very welcoming, very accommodating, very friendly, very good cookies. All that and in America's friendliest town as well. You certainly did your part to maintain the town's reputation. Thank you for accomodating my peculiar dietary needs. It made my visit so enjoyable too. Thank you.

empty nest

Thank you for your lovely hospitality to help ease the transition of letting my middle child go--as a Freshman at Whitman. The house is comfortable and charming, the food wonderful, and your advice and flexibility was appreciated.

Anniversary stay

We loved our stay at The Maxwell House for our 29th anniversary. Had fun riding your cruiser bikes to Pioneer Park, and exploring other parts of Walla Walla. Thanks for the yummy food and gracious hospitality. We would love to come back.

A perfect hostess

I cannot say enough about Penny. She was the perfect hostess in every way. The house was immaculate and the food was wonderful. The home is situated in a beautiful area of Walla Walla with large homes all around it and within walking distance of downtown. There is a big front porch and a lovely patio area in the back. Our room was large and comfortable. Penny is friendly but not at all overbearing. She gives you a relaxed feeing from the time you walk through the door. I had come down with some kind of a stomach bug and she went out of her way to insure that I could relax and gradually get my tummy back to normal. Walla Walla is a lovely town with plenty to do for at least 2 or 3 days. Would we stay there again. YOU BET WE WOULD!!!

Wonderful Hostess

Penny couldn't be sweeter. She wants to be sure that everything is not only just what you expected but even better. The home is a wonderful example of the Craftsman era and is spotless. The front porch and back patio are oh so inviting and there is private off the street parking. cookies and coffee and tea are always available and breakfast is not only delicious but a work of art.
