French Waffles

Description:
Wonderful, easy and unique. Our guests love them.

Ingredients:
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup warmed milk
4 Tablespoons melted butter
1/8 tsp. salt
Loaf of Dry whole wheat bread

Directions:
Mix egg batter well. This batter is best at a lukewarm temperature. Take one piece of bread and cover both sides of it with a batter and toast it in a hot waffle iron till golden brown.
Sprinkle with powder sugar and serve with pure maple syrup and butter. Also wonderful with raspberry syrup or jam.
