Maple Flavored Sausage And Bacon

Ingredients:
2 lbs. bulk pork sausage
8 bacon slices
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 1/2 tsp. dried sage
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 c. maple syrup

Directions:
Place sausage in large bowl and set aside. Saute bacon in skillet until almost crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels. Chop bacon. Add onion to bacon drippings using only the amount needed to saute until onion is tender. Add the remaining ingredients. Allow mixture to cool for 15 minutes. Pour onion mixture over sausage and mix in crumbled bacon thoroughly. Make into any size patties. Saute in skillet.
