Pastrami Cheese Ball
Description:
This is a nice red and green for Christmas parties. It goes together quickly and can be eaten immediately but it’s nice if the flavors have at least a few hours in the fridge to meld. You can roll it in nuts or parsley if you want, or add parsley to it Ingredients: 1 package dried pastrami, diced 2 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened (low fat is fine, non-fat is ok but not real good) 1 small diced onion (about 3 Tbs.) 1 finely diced green pepper or a mixture of green with jalapeno or other hot pepper if desired (or dash of hot sauce) 2-4 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce Directions: Dice one package pastrami add to bowl with cream cheese. Finely chop onion and peppers. (I prefer habanaro peppers for a slightly “hotter” taste. Generally the smaller the pepper the hotter the taste.) Add several tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. Stir and taste. Best with butter crackers.
