Town Hill White Chocolate Scones

We have over 40 bus trips a year for our formal tea. These scones are served at each tea and always bring compliments. Ingredients: 3 cups flour 1/3 cup sugar 1 teas. salt 2 1/2 teas. baking powder 1/2 teas. baking soda 3/4 cup butter - melted 1 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup craisins 8 oz. white chocolate chips 1 tbsp. heavy cream for brushing Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, and buttermilk in a large mixing bowl. Fold ingredients until blended. Add craisins and chocolate chips. Form 3 rounds ( approx. 6-8 inches) on a greased cookie sheet. Score each round into 6 pie shaped forms. Brush with cream. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
