Miss Ann's Cinnamon Biscuits
Description:
A yummy breakfast bread best served hot right out of the oven and topped with a pat of butter. Ingredients: 1 c. baking mix 1/4 c. buttermilk (add more if needed) 1/4 c. brown sugar 2 T. cinnamon 2 T. apple butter Directions: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine baking mix with buttermilk and blend thoroughly. Turn out onto floured surface then roll out as thin as possible. Spread the apple butter over dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll the dough into a log and cut in 1 inch circles. Place circles in well greased 8" round cake pan with the cut side facing up and sides touching. Sprinkle top with more cinnamon and brown sugar. Bake for 8 minutes - remove from oven and brush tops with melted butter. Continue baking until golden brown another 3 - 4 minutes.
