Offering quite a unique look, Dutch Babies are a filling and tasty way to start your day. Ingredients: 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup flour Powdered sugar Ramkin/au gratin dish Fruit sauce: Bag of frozen fruit of choice 1 cup brown sugar Directions: Fruit sauce: Mix bag of frozen fruit and brown sugar in small pot and bring to boil. Sauce can then be frozen until needed. Dutch Babies: Mix together eggs, milk, and flour. Pam ramkin/au gratin dish, and put a sliver of butter in dish. 5 minutes before ready, warm ramkin/au gratin dish in oven until butter sliver is melted. Remove dish from oven and pour mixture into dish. Bake for 30 mintues at 450. Heat fruit sauce in microwave until hot (approx. 2 mins). Take dutch baby out of dish and put on plate. Ladle a kitchen spoon full of sauce onto baby. Dust with powdered sugar. Can substitute syrup of preference for the fruit sauce. Serve with sausages.
