Homemade Granola

Each time that I make this recipe I feel confident to have guaranteed results. It is delicious, healthy, and the recipe seems fail-proof when following the directions provided.

5 cups Old fashion Oatmeal
1 cup Coconut
1 cup Cashews
1 cup Sliced Almonds
1 cup Sunflower Kernels
3/4 cup Honey
1/2 cup Canola Oil
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Raisins or Other Dried Fruit, optional

Mix first 5 dry ingredients. Stir honey, oil,& brown sugar & microwave for 2 min. Pour heated topping over the dry ingredients. Stir granola to mix well. Spread on cookie sheet. Stir every 10 min. during the total baking time of 30 min. in 300' oven. Cool. Add raisins or other dried fruit. Store in air-tight container in the refrigerator.
