Molasses Crinkles

Just the right sugar and spice!!

1 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup Crisco
1/3 cup molasses
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour
2 teas. baking soda
1/4 teas. salt
1 teas. cinnamon
1 teas. ginger
1/2 teas. cloves

1. Cream sugar, molasses. Crisco and egg.
2. Whisk together all dry ingredients.
3. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. and mix well.
4. Shape into balls and roll in sugar.
5. Place on greased baking sheet and bake @350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
