Mrs. Beazley's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Description: We have served these cookies for 25 years and have perfected the recipe. Our guests tell us over and over that these are the best cookies they have tasted, and continue to ask for the prize recipe. Ingredients: In a mixing bowl combine: 3 sticks butter, softened 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar, not packed 2 eggs 4 teaspoons real vanilla 2 teaspoons baking soda 4 cups flour 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips Directions: In a large bowl, blend together the softened butter with the sugars, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Mix-in flour in two parts. After mixing in the first part of flour add the chocolate chips. Then mix in the rest of the flour. Place balls of dough on a non-stick 15x10 inch cookie sheet or jelly roll and bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes or until golden brown.
