Delicious served with whipped cream or ice cream I serve it as a "breakfast dessert" or whenever Ingredients: 2 lb Muscadine grapes 2 Cups Sugar 1 tsp grated lemon rind 1/4 tsp apple pie spice 1/2 cup butter or margerine 1 cup self-rising flour 1 cup milk Directions: Cut grapes in half, remove seeds & squeeze pulp into bowl...Add skins & Cook with 1 cup sugar, lemon rind & apple pie spice in a saucepan over medium heat & bring to boil. Reduce heat & simmer stirring occasionally...5 min or until tender. Melt butter in a 11 X 7 baking dish in 350 oven. Stir together flour, remaining cup sugar& milk; pour over melted butter. Pour muscadine mix. over batter.
