2 pounds spareribs

1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce
1-1/2 cups water
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 lemons, thinly sliced

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
Season the ribs with salt and pepper to taste. Put the ribs in a roasting pan, meaty side uyp and roast about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the ketchup, worcestershire, chili powder, salt, tabasco and water and bring to a boil.
Drain off the fat from the ribs and top with the onions and lemon slices. Pour the sauce ober the ribs and return to the oven, lowering the temperature to 350 degrees, for 1-1/2 hrs, basting often with the sauce. A loose foil cover will keep the ribs from drying out.
