This blend is best served with vegetable sticks for a great appetizer.

2 cups canned garbanzo beeans, drained and rinsed
2 tsp salt
4 medium garlic cloves
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup tahini (ground sesame seeds)

In a blender, combine the garbanzo beans, garlic and salt with about a cup of water.
In a separate bowl, mix the tahini and lemon juice until it is the consistency of mayonnaise. Add to the garbanzo bean mixture and garnish with parsley and paprika. Serve with vegetable spears, e.g. carrots, celery, asparagus.
