Stuffed Grape Leaves

This style is a typical Lebanese Dish

1 lb ground beef
1 cup rice
1 #10 can of diced tomatoes
1 jar of grape leaves
2 Tbs cinnamon
Salt to taste

Drain the tomatoes, reserving the liquid for cooking.Combine the meat, rice, tomatoes, cinnamon and salt. Spread out the leaves on a clean surface and roll the mixture in the leaves, approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and 3 inches long.
Place the rolled grape leaves in a pot on top of the stove, no more than two layers deep. Add the reserved tomato liquid and water to cover the grape leaves and then cover the pot. Simmer slowly for about an hour, or until the rice has cooked through.
Serve with yogurt and lemon slices.
