Description:
a wonderful tasty breakfast for all of your guests. Make this the evening before first thing in the morning put in the oven. Ingredients: One and 1/2 loaf of potatoe scaillion bread. 1 stick of butter 1 cup light corn syrup 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup orange juice 8 eggs 2 cups half and half or eggnog 2tsb vanilla Directions: melt butter, corn syrup and brown sugar in a sauace pan until brown sugar is melted. Spray a 9 by 13 inch baking pan with pan spray on the bottom and sides. Pour the melted brown sugar into the pan and coat the bottom of the pan with it. Cut up the poatoe scaillion bread into 2 inch cubes or chunks and put in the pan evenily over the brown sugar. Mix the eggs, half and half, vanila, and orange juice in a blender and pour over the bread until all pieces have been coated. Put in the refrigarater over night. In the morning Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 35-45 minutes until golden brown. Cut unto equal pieces about 6-8. Seve warm with maple syrup.
