Baked Spiced Nuts
Description:
A sweet treat by the handful. Walnuts or a variety of other nuts can be used; I prefer pecans.
Ingredients:
1 stick butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg white 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cold water 1/2tsp. cinnamon 1 (16 oz.) bag pecans
Directions:
Butter a jelly roll pan. Beat egg white and water until frothy. Stir in pecans until well coated. Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon. Pour mixture over pecans, mixing well. Spread pecans in a single layer on pan. Bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
