Description:
Great finger food. Enjoy by the handful. Ingredients: 4 cups tortilla chips, broken 1/2 cup brown sugar 3 cups Crispix 1 stick butter 1 bag microwave popcorn, popped 1 T. chili powder 12 oz. can mixed nuts 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/4 tsp. red pepper Directions: In a large bowl combine chips, cereal, popcorn and nuts. Set aside. In a saucepan combine corn syrup, brown sugar, butter and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Pour over cereal mixture, coating well. Spread onto jelly roll pan and bake 1 hour at 250 degrees; stirring every 20 minutes. When done, remove from pan and pour onto wax paper. Let cool. Break big sections apart, if necessary. Can be stored in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
